At Leicestershire Endodontics, we invest in the highest quality equipment and materials, including CBCT technology. This advanced imaging allows us to diagnose and treat complex endodontic cases with greater accuracy and precision.
Endodontic Retreatment
In some cases, a previous root canal treatment may need to be redone due to complications or improper healing. Our endodontists are experts in endodontic retreatment and will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan to ensure the best possible outcome.
Surgical Endodontics
When a non-surgical approach to endodontic treatment is not enough, our endodontists are trained in surgical endodontics. This includes procedures such as apicoectomy and root-end resection, which can help save a damaged or infected tooth.
Microscope Dentistry
We also utilize microscope dentistry, which provides our endodontists with enhanced visualization and illumination during procedures. This allows for more precise treatment, resulting in better outcomes for our patients.
Emergency Endodontic Care

Dr. Jesal Savania
Endodontic Lead
Dr. Jesal Savania is one of the Midland's top dentists with a special interest in endodontics. He received his BDS degree from the University of Dundee, and has since focused his practice limited to endodontics. Dr. Savania is dedicated to providing exceptional endodontic care to his patients, utilising the latest techniques and technology. He prides himself on pain-free treatment, with the most predictable and long-lasting outcomes. Dr Savania is also a leader in the field in the Midlands, regularly running courses to teach fellow dentists on how to manage complex root canal cases.
Dr. Anish Berry
Restorative Lead
Dr Anish Berry is a highly experienced and skilled restorative dentist, who provides support to our endodontic patients. In cases where root canal treatment is extremely difficult due to a poorly broken down tooth, Dr Anish can help to improve the structure of the tooth so that Dr Savania is then able to provide the most effective root canal treatment.

For self-referred patients, Dr Anish will also be able to provide you with options to restore your teeth following endodontic treatment.

For dentist-referred patients, you will not be able to see Dr Anish, and you will need the restorative portion of your treatment to be planned and completed by your referring dentist.
Dr. Manish Taank
Implant Lead
Dr. Manish Taank is a leader in the field of dental implants and surgical dentistry. He is able to offer opinions and treatments as alternatives for endodontic treatment. If a tooth is deemed unrestorable, or root canal treatment is not desired, he can consider options for the careful removal of poor prognosis teeth and replacement with dental implants.
